On account of the well-being trend, the contemporaries nowadays pay a more attention to a heath functional food than to a general food by considering a health. Subsequently, the well-being era has caused a boom in a functional food.
In this regard, our company, Yirang Foods exerted more efforts in manufacturing a functional seaweed, which is different from the existing seaweed. Although the seaweed itself contained its own unique nutritious characteristic, we tried to make a better product by adding another functionality.
In respect of such product, we could name Calcium Seaweeds, which contains seaweeds calcium and Ginseng Seaweeds, which contains Koryo Ginseng powder.
Seaweed itself contains calcium component. However, we improved the functionality of seaweed by adding a seaweed calcium and thus strengthening the calcium ingredient in comparison to the existing seaweed. The degree of calcium being absorbed in a body is absolutely different in taking Calcium Seaweeds in comparison to taking the existing seaweeds. In addition, Ginseng Seaweeds is born as a product flavoring an ordinary food with a health food by uniting the nutrition of the existing seaweed and the efficacy of ginseng which is good to recover a function of the liver including a blood circulation. Although it is not taken as a medicine, it can be reborn as a true well-being product by being applied into a food taken everyday.
The contemporaries who are accustomed to instant foods in which a nutrition is not balanced under a busy life should take a more nutritious food even in a meal per day, in taking a grain of rice or a sheet of seaweed, which Yirang Foods thinks.
By noticing that such desire to pursue a well-being is stronger in foreign advanced countries in addition to Korea, Yirang Foods concentrates on exporting Calcium Seaweeds and Ginseng Seaweeds. Th interest on Ginseng Seaweeds is a gradual increase abroad. A thought on seaweed which has been called as a black paper by foreigners has been much changed by an influence of a well-being.
As time goes by, people's thinking has gradually changed. Accordingly, a desire to a functional food will be increased not only in advanced countries but also in the world. Therefore, we are trying to expand the market for our Ginseng Seaweeds to the world without being limited in one or two countries. Until Ginseng Seaweeds settles down as a food good for health and recognized by the world in terms of Korean food following Kimchi, Yirang Foods will continue to make efforts.
